thin places

When quarantine began, I, along with millions of other college students, was sent home in the middle of the semester. For months, I was stuck living in the place where I grew up, a place where I haven't lived for two years. It was a strange experience. Although I was still taking college classes, I felt as though I had been transported back to a time when my sister and I would spend our days constructing imaginary worlds. A time when the real world was beyond our grasp.

Shot on 4x5 film, developed in my bathroom sink.
